Read this too, tonight, and realized why, after no real motive in reading it in the first place. Brennan, my 16 year old daughter and I headed out on another great fishing trip over Thanksgiving. What a thrill. To have your kid want to go with the old man on four day trip to fish in a river in the cold. How fun. Her turn to drive and she rolled the pickup just south of Buffalo WY. We both walked away, and were stranded without a car in a motel in Buffalo. Did not reach the river. Could not get home for three days. The greatest lesson in the world, for both of us. Did the same with the insurance money. Glad that a life lesson was passed through together, without fish, or the fun that we had planned. Different fun. Different deal. No car payment.
