Linda is right about SparkPeople (www.sparkpeople.com) and their founders philosophy is aligned with ours. He made megabucks in another venture and wanted to give back so he created SparkPeople and offers it free to anyone. Not only can you track food and exercise easily, there are groups targeting any age, loss goal, etc. and the social network aspect is built in. There is a wheel you can spin daily to get 'spark points' to give virtual gifts to your 'spark friends.' I've suggested the site to many in my up and down line and it is one more way to interact.

Hi Linda,

Great comment and recommendation! I don't even know what it is, but I think Lemon Chess pie could get me to fall off the wagon as well.

Thanks for "publicly stating" your weight loss goal! Looking forward to seeing at Convention, and before.

Best,

Raz

There is something about the power of intention, declaring it publicly and then achieving the stated goal. Thank you Raz, for this article and for your transparency. I too fell off the diet wagon on Monday as a piece of Lemon Chess pie passed my way.

Thank you also to Taylor Hartman who last year shared his secret to weight loss - walking everyday rain or shine. On January 16 I started walking as part of my diet plan and have missed only 4 days in 34. I rounded up a neighbor as a walking partner and we meet at 6:15 a.m. in below freezing temperatures everyday for a 45 min. walk.

For those who don't have an iPhone, there's a free website (sparkpeople.com) that can be used to track you daily intake and exercise.

I would like to suggest a downline for you Raz. Those who wish to participate could state a goal of weight loss for revealing at Convention. For gaining better health by losing, we could be the "Biggest Gainers." My goal is to lose 20 lbs.
